Account & Data Deletion
Hamster Break · com.madstudio.hamsterbreak
This page explains how to request the deletion of your Hamster Break account and the personal data associated with it. Hamster Break is published by MadStudio (MadGraph SASU). This process applies to both the Google Play and App Store versions of the game.
What data is associated with your account
Hamster Break stores a game account on our backend (PlayFab) and, only if you choose to connect it, a link to your Facebook account. The data tied to your account may include:
- A unique game account identifier (player ID)
- Game progression and preferences (levels completed, scores, in-game settings, in-app purchase history)
- Friend connections and leaderboard entries
- A link to your Facebook account, only if you connected Facebook inside the game
- Technical and advertising identifiers as described in our Privacy Notice
How to request deletion
To request the deletion of your Hamster Break account and associated personal data, send an email to privacy@mad.studio with the subject “Hamster Break account deletion”, including:
- Your in-game player ID if you know it (Settings screen in the game), or the device platform you play on (iOS / Android)
- If your account is linked to Facebook, the email address associated with that Facebook account
We will verify the request and confirm by email. Your account and the personal data associated with it are deleted within 30 days of a verified request, unless a longer period is required by law.
Unlinking Facebook
If you connected Facebook, you can also remove the link between your Facebook account and the game at any time from your Facebook account settings (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites). This disconnects Hamster Break and removes the Facebook link from our records.
What is deleted and what may be retained
Upon a verified request we delete or de-identify your account, game progression, friend connections and the Facebook link. We may retain a limited amount of information where we have an ongoing legal obligation to do so (for example tax and accounting records relating to in-app purchases), or where data is held on backup systems pending scheduled deletion. In those cases the information is isolated from further processing until deletion is possible, as described in our Privacy Notice.
